All the on-site rental car desks at Kahului Airport are located in a facility separate from the terminal building. Upon arrival please proceed through the baggage claim area, remember to collect your entire luggage, before exiting the terminal. Cross the street to the tram or walkway that will take you to the rental desk location a few minutes away. The tram leaves every 5-10 minutes. Once at the location please proceed to the Alamo rental desk.
Helpful information when renting an Alamo vehicle at Kahului Airport
Alamo offers the option of online check-in, which will save you time at the counter, or might even allow you to skip the counter entirely (certain restrictions apply), upon arrival as your driver information and preferences will already be provided.
Another option is to use the self-service kiosk which will allow you to skip the rental counter lines and check-in using Alamo’s touch-screen kiosk where a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed and you will be directed to your rental car on the lot. Show the agreement and your driver’s license to the booth agent at the exit booth and you are all set to go.
